The SSID is also known by the name of service set identifier which is the workgroup name of the wireless network that you are using mydlink cloud login. It is necessary that all the devices must have SSID for accessing the wireless network.
Step 1: Open the browser and enter the IP address which is 192.168.0.1 and press enter button.
Step 2: Just enter the details of the user name and the password depending upon the type of firmware you are using.
If you are using Firmware 2.39DDM then the default username is admin and left the option of password blank
If you are using Firmware 2.43 Build 12 then the default username is admin and the default password is password.
Click on the button of OK after entering all the details.
Step 3: Click on the option of wireless which is displaying on the left side
Step 4: Enter the details of the new SSID which is displaying next to the SSID.
Note: The length of the SSID must be less than 32 characters which also include letters, space and dashes. Kindly note that, the SSID is case sensitive.
Step 5: Click on the option of apply and then click on the option of save for getting the new setting saved.
Here are the steps for configuring wireless channel on Dlink DI-624
Step 1: Just open your web browser and enter the link 192.168.0.1
Step 2: Enter the details of the default username and the password
Step 3: Click on the tab of advance and select the option of performance which is displaying on the left
Step 4: Select the option of disable which is displaying next to option of Super G mode.
Step 5: Click on option of apply for getting all the settings saved whether they are new settings or the old one.
